其中科切拉谷发生大范围洪水，遭受严重交通中断，导致企业、道路、学校关闭，正常的沙漠生活陷入了停顿。 在热带风暴警报解除后，清理工作正在进行，官员们正在评估损失。
此外，科切拉谷的 911 报警系统在风雨中瘫痪了。 大教堂城、沙漠温泉、印第奥和棕榈泉的居民周一被指示在紧急情况下，直接联系市府的公共安全机构，而不是拨打 911。
棕榈泉市在短短几个小时内降雨量就超过了半年的降雨量。

沙漠温泉市、拉昆塔市和棕榈沙漠市也发布了类似的紧急声明。
