南加州本周迎来首场冬季风暴，连续一整天的降雨给洛杉矶最高峰贝里山（Mount Baldy）带来降雪，民众纷纷前去赏雪。但是由于山路崎岖，降雪后地滑，导致百辆车受困，前往救援的消防局排雪车也被困。加州公路巡警于本月29日宣布关闭通往贝里山的山路。
圣伯纳丁诺和圣盖博山的滑雪报告显示，从周日晚间至周一，冬季风暴席卷该地区，带来了多达24英寸的降雪。贝里山顶的滑雪场也带来了10.2英寸的降雪。
疫情下困在家中好久的民众纷纷冒着寒冷前往山里去赏雪，28日晚间，前往贝里山的交通拥挤，下雪路滑导致百辆车被困。洛杉矶郡消防局派出前去救援的排雪车也被困，无法在晚间10点到达现场。
根据加州公路巡警的信息显示，截止至29日上午，仍有数十辆汽车困在现场，排雪车艰难工作。还有滑雪者排队等待上山。
贝里山滑雪场（Mt.Baldy Resort）方面表示，滑雪场目前关闭，因为洛郡尚无法解决道路问题，希望冰雪融化后，道路可以重新开放。此外，滑雪场也有员工被困。
加州公路巡警目前没有表示道路将何时开通，但是警告民众，在雪天上山要加满汽油，给轮胎装上雪链，并要注意山区经常没有手机信号。
