本周三（4日）一早的降雨，给南加受山火影响的区域带来了泥石流威胁。高速公路上更是险象环生，严重影响早高峰通勤。
国家气象局公布，此次由中加州向南移动的风暴将给南加州大部分地区带来0.75至1.5英寸的降雨，圣盖博山脉可能迎来3英寸的降雨。

洛杉矶郡最近发生的马鞍岭山火（Saddleridge fire）、蜱火（Tick Fire）和盖蒂大火（Getty fire）烧毁的地区目前发布一次洪水警报。圣伯纳丁诺、河滨和橙郡也都发布了山洪监视预警。官员希望这些危险区域的居民保持警惕。

从4日凌晨开始的阵雨已经严重影响了早高峰通勤。清晨4点左右，一辆满载土豆和洋葱的大卡车在710高速公路和60号高速公路附近发生车祸，险些翻下桥。目前卡车的后部车厢悬挂在空中，交通部门紧急封锁现场救援，并需要先卸货，目前尚不清楚该路段何时重新开放。
5号高速路位于Roxford街附近也有两辆大卡车发生车祸，公路巡警发布公路紧急警告，目前尚不清楚会持续多久。
101号高速公路Lankershim大道附近发生多车相撞的车祸，严重影响了影视城和北好莱坞附近的通勤交通。

气象局预计周四（5日）降雨将减少，但是另一场风暴可能会在周五（6日）晚间至周六（7日）再次来袭。
