洛杉矶的喜瑞都社区学院（Cerritos Community College）本月3日下午收到炸弹威胁，师生被要求就近躲避。警方目前封锁校园搜查，并逮捕了一名男子。校方宣布，当天的课程全部取消。
喜瑞都学院3日下午12点半左右发布推文表示：学校收到威胁，这不是演习，请立刻躲避等待进一步消息。

在后续推文中，校方解释收到针对行政大楼周边的炸弹威胁，敦促师生和工作人员继续躲避，直到封锁取消。
洛杉矶郡警局接到报警后已经封锁了校园，拆弹部队到场搜查。警方建议师生们避开学校3号和4号停车场之间的大楼。
学校随后宣布取消当天的课程。
下午2时15分左右，警方宣布该地区已经安全，一名与此案有关的嫌犯已经被逮捕，他的身份目前尚未公布。
